Muriel D. Rabadeau Obituary (1925 - 2013)

AUGUSTA- Muriel D Rabadeau, 88 died on Wednesday March 20, 2013 at Glenridge Community Living Center in Augusta, with her granddaughter Kimberly at her side. Muriel lost her husband of 67 years Roger “Rip” Rabadeau on January 6, 2013. She was born March 1, 1925 in Middletown Ct the daughter of Charles A and Francis (Ratcliffe) Doebener. She received her education in Middletown, CT and Married Roger W Rabadeau on September 16, 1945, and moved to Maine. Muriel was past Matron Order of The Easter Star in Vassalboro. Muriel worked for many years for Depositors Trust Company in Augusta. While living in Eustis, ME Muriel worked for Cathedral Pines Campground and for Sugarloaf Mountain. Muriel is survived by a daughter Sandra Stratton of York, SC: Three grandchildren, Kimberly Perkins and her children Spenser & Shayna of Augusta, ME, Amanda Dunn Michaud, her husband Thomas and their son Colby of Northfield, ME, Robert Weeks, his wife Shannon, and children Taylor, Ashley, and Brice. Muriel’s Sister Marjorie Sabin of Middletown, CT, Sister in law Elizabeth Foster of Vassalboro, ME. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A committal service for Muriel and Roger will be held at the family lot in Flagstaff Memorial Cemetery in Eustis. The family wishes to thank the staff of Graybirch Rehab and Glenridge, along with the entire hospice team for the lost and assistance you have supplied during the journey for Muriel. You are truly angles on earth.
