DUNEDIN, Fla.-Arlene G. Hendrickson, 93, formerly of Augusta, died July 20, 2010, in Dunedin. She was born in Augusta, Maine, on Dec. 17, 1916, the daughter of Sewell and Laura Glidden. She had been employed by Depositors Trust and later at Kennebec Savings Bank. She was active in the American Legion Post 40, Winthrop, Maine, with her first husband Bertrand Lagueux, and for the past several years, she has resided in Florida. She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Bertrand Lagueux (1972), and second husband, Warren Hendrickson (1995); four sisters Mildred, Grace, Inez and Lucille; and three nieces Frances, Mary and Marilyn. She is survived by a stepson Everett J 'Jack' Henderson and his wife, Susan, of Columbus, Ohio; a stepdaughter Martha Dublin and her husband, Robert, of Hudson, N.H.; a devoted friend and caregiver Annette Severance of Clearwater; a nephew, Robert Donnelly; grand nieces Ann Clark and Rosemary Foster; and a grand nephew Dennis Foster and his wife, Linda. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug.14, in Mount Hope Cemetery, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Boulevard, Clearwater, FL 33760.
