AUGUSTA - Barbara E. Fish, 75, of Augusta died at her home Tuesday, May 30, 2006, after a short illness. She was born in Chelsea on Oct. 5, 1930, the daughter of Bert and Hazel Herbert. Barbara grew up in the Chelsea area and was married to Maurice Fish Sr. Mrs. Fish enjoyed camping, being outdoors and shopping. She also enjoyed playing beano, years ago. Barbara is survived by her husband, Maurice Fish Sr.; three sons, Maurice Fish Jr. and his wife, Lillian, of Windsor, Daniel Fish of Florida and Russell Morse of Florida; two daughters, Maureen Fish Snell of Augusta and Laureen Eva Fish of Florida; and a brother, John Herbert of Limestone. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Augusta. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta.
