WINTHROP ? Caroline M. (Brown) Meservey, 77, of Winthrop, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Heritage Rehabilitation and Living Center. Mrs. Meservey was born in Brighton, Feb. 7, 1925, the daughter of Perley T. and Maggie (Gerald) Brown. She will be sadly missed by many friends and penpals. Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Meservey, in 1989, and two sons, Hason and Ralph Meservey. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Barrett, of Jacksonville, Fla., Nancy Pranes, of Waldoboro and Sheila Soloman, of Salem, N.H.; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Marilyn Taylor, of Manchester. The funeral service will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home, Winthrop.
