WINDSOR ? Clifton Arthur 'Kip' Richmond, 92, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 12, 2003. He was born in South Livermore, April 3, 1911, and attended schools in Livermore and Turner. He lived in Livermore for several years before moving to Manchester and later to Windsor. Kip worked in the Wilton Woolen Mill for many years and later worked in the Carleton Woolen Mill in Winthrop, retiring in 1974. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also took great pride in his vegetable gardens. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Augusta. He was predeceased by his first wife, Violet McLaughlin Richmond; two sisters, Florence Peach and Phyllis Heikkinen; and two brothers, Francis Davis and Byron Davis. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Crockett Richmond of Windsor; four daughters, Jean Bryant and her husband, Clarence, of Livermore, Ann Richmond of Portland, Patricia Barnes and her husband, Ronald, of Winslow, Penny Bolstridge and her husband, Bryan, of Windsor; a stepdaughter, Vickey Taylor of Utica, N.Y.; two sons, Floyd Richmond and his wife, Donna, of Livermore, Thomas Richmond and his wife, Doreen, of Trenton; seven grandchildren, Paula Bryant, Pamela Claypole, Patricia DeMeurers, Bryan Bryant, Scott Richmond, Nancy Richmond and Joshua Bolstridge; three sisters, his twin Carmen Elliott of Falmouth, Freda Phinney and her husband, Edwin, of Gorham, and Beryl Gammon and her husband, Roger, of Sumner; one brother, Blaine Davis and his wife, Winona, of Lisbon Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at First Church of the Nazarene, Nazarene Drive, Augusta, where a service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with pastor Norman Shaw officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Livermore Falls at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta.
