Corbin Ricker Obituary (2011)

WINTHROP - Corbin Daniel Ricker, 4, of Winthrop, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 3, 2011. He was born in Augusta, Jan. 22, 2007, the son of Amanda J. Dorson and Mitchell J. Ricker. Corbin attended the Good Shepherd Learning Center, where he was known as a sweet and playful boy. He really enjoyed movies like 'Cars' and 'Toy Story.' He was a wonderful big brother to Mason. Corbin is survived by his parents, Amanda and Mitchell; his maternal grandparents, Julie and Lynn Mecham, of Readfield, and Daniel and Sue Parent-Dorson, of Wayne; his paternal grandparents, Julie Johnson and her partner, Jim McCully, of Augusta; his little brother, Mason Ricker; his great grandparents, Jeanie Dorson, Weston and Muriel Mecham, Fred and Alice Cole, Ruth and John Galuppo, and Rodney and Patricia Clark; his great-great-grandmother, Mike Holbrook; his aunts, Katrina, Andrea and Danielle; and his uncles, Justin, Ryan and Matthew. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gott Road, in Wayne, on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Learning Center, 35 Grove St., Augusta, ME 04330.
