WAYNE - Dalene E. Pelton, 54, of Main Street, died unexpectedly and went to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta. She was born in Augusta on July 16, 1954, and attended Manchester and Hallowell schools. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and her animals. Dalene was always willing to help anyone who needed anything and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, Elloween 'Pat' Piper and Earle Kimball. She is survived by her husband, Daryl R. Pelton of Wayne; a daughter, Vicky L. Pelton and her friend Michael Parks of Readfield; two sisters, Regina Waitt of North Wayne and Nancy Bonenfant of Manchester; two brothers, Tony Piper of Augusta and Deane Kimball of Fall River, Mass.; her mother-in-law, Earlene Pelton of West Gardiner; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visiting will be held Monday, Sept. 22, from 2-4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St. Winthrop. Following the visitation on Monday, there will be a gathering of family and friends at the home of Regina and Roy Waitt, 173 Walton Road, Wayne. All are welcome to attend.
