Edmond Jr. Obituary (1942 - 2007)

Augusta - Edmond H. Michaud Jr., 65, of Rainbow Run died Friday February 9, 2007 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta. He was born in Augusta on January 19, 1942 the son of Edmond and Margaret Michaud. Edmond worked as a roofer for Dow Roofing for many years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Hallowell, where he drove the church van and worked in the hall kitchen. He also worked in the kitchen at the Calumet Club during beano. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hallowell. Edmond enjoyed listening to country music, watching baseball, football, wrestling and NASCAR. He collected models and eagle figurines. Edmond also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Gloria Michaud of Augusta; a son James Michaud of Augusta; 2 daughters April Michaud of Augusta and Michelle Michaud of Troy; a brother Ralph Michaud of Chelsea; a granddaughter Celina Michaud, also several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held Monday February 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, One Church St., Augusta, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00, with Rev Louis Phillips, Celebrant. Spring burial will be in the Hallowell Cemetery, Hallowell.
