AUGUSTA ? Eileen Cronin Patrick, 63, of Augusta, died peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2003, after a long battle with lupus, with her family at her side at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. \r\r\n\r\r\nShe was born Oct. 24, 1939, in Augusta, the daughter of Daniel J. and Bridget (Callahan) Cronin. She was raised in Hallowell, attending St. Mary's School and old Hallowell High School. \r\r\n\r\r\nEileen was a dance student for many years and was well-known for her dancing. She was very involved with her children and their lives. Eileen also enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. \r\r\n\r\r\nMs. Patrick is survived by three sons, Dennis Patrick and his wife, Brenda, of Beverly, Mass., John Patrick and his wife, Gretchen, of Randolph and James Patrick, and his wife, Cheryl, of Gardiner; two daughters, Bridget Palmer and her husband, James, of Readfield and Patricia Coan and her husband, James, of Pittston; three brothers, Daniel Cronin of Danvers, Mass., Stephen Cronin of Geneva, Fla., and Dennis Cronin of Rockton, Ill.; a sister, Marianne Dalbeck of Augusta; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. \r\r\n\r\r\nA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 68 Second St., Hallowell. \r\r\n\r\r\nMemorial donations may be made to The Lupus Foundation, 1300 Piccard Drive Suite 200, Rockville, Md. 20850-4303.
