Farmingdale - Grace MacHardy Allard, 93, of Farmingdale, died Wednesday August 31, 2005 at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, Glenridge Drive, Augusta.She was born in Frankfort, Maine on March 20, 1912 the daughter of John W. and Mary Ann (Densmore) MacHardy.Grace enjoyed gardening and sharing with and helping others in need. For many years she attended the Wayside Chapel in West Gardiner.Grace was predeceased by her husband, William Allard.She is survived by a sister, Mary Blake, of Sequim, Washington.A graveside committal service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 16 at the MacHardy family plot in Hallowell Cemetery, with Pastor Fred Benner officiating. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 18th at the Wayside Chapel, located on the corner of West River Road and Neck Road in West Gardiner.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Wayside Chapel, 270 Maple St., Farmingdale, ME 04344.
