READFIELD - Iris (Buss) Kolb, 63, of Readfield, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009, in Augusta. Iris was born on July 17, 1945, in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of Johann and Helen (Ripley) Kolb. Iris loved to cook. She loved animals, bowling, playing cribbage and watching thunderstorms over the lake from her log home. She enjoyed her friends, family and living life to its fullest. Iris left behind two daughters, Anita H. Buss, of Readfield, and her partner, Maureen Connoly, and Yvonne Wilkins, of Readfield and her fianc?, Wesley Myer; two granddaughters, Darcy and Sabrina Wilkins; and her longtime companion, Clayton Harlow, of Wales. She also leaves her beloved kitty, Felicia. Family and friends will gather 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Torsey Fellowship Hall on Route 17, Kents Hill.
