MONMOUTH ? James Arthur DuBois, 51, of Monmouth, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at his home. He was born in Fall River, Mass., April 11, 1951, the son of Arthur and Joan (Raymond) DuBois. He graduated from BMC-Durfee High School in Fall River. He served in the Navy from 1973 to 1976. James later went to work for General Dynamics in Connecticut as a shipfitter, and later at Bath Iron Works as a shipfitter and union shop steward. Mr. DuBois enjoyed fishing, playing pool and music. He loved to be around his family and friends. James was predeceased by his father, Arthur DuBois; a brother, Frank DuBois; a sister, June Allen and his stepfather, Rocky Choquette. He is survived by his former wife and lifelong companion, Bonnie Lanphear; his mother, Joan DuBois Sousa, of Massachusetts; three sisters, Donna Quisada, Susan Choquette and Nancy Adrian; one brother, David DuBois; a daughter, Jennifer DuBois; and three sisters-in-law, Linda, Joanna and Deidra DuBois. Relatives and friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 24, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop.
