AUGUSTA - Jarrod (Gerard) Bernard Atwood died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, in Augusta. He was born in Farmington on Nov. 26, 1977, the son of June E. Goding. He completed his education and trade training in South Portland. He worked as a high-rise steel worker from the age of 19. Jarrod was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was so proud of his children. He loved spending time with his family and friends and hanging out with his brother. He was always there for his mom and loved being on the go. He is survived by his wife, Traci (Rodrigue) Atwood; his son, Blayde, age 7, and daughter McKaylee, age 10, both of Readfield; his mother, June Goding, and her companion, David M. Peterson, of Ludington, Mich.; a sister, Nancy J. Hughes and her husband, Mike, of Canaan, Vt.; his brother, Matthew Pelletier and his companion, Susan Doray, of Randolph; his nieces, Megan, Paige and Amanda Hughes, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, on Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m., with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the East Readfield Cemetery.
