WINTHROP - Kimberly A. Pelton, 49, of Tamarak Lane died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at her home. She was born in Augusta on April 13, 1961, the daughter of Donald and Patricia (Hayden) Pelton. She attended Readfield Elementary School and Kents Hill School, and graduated from Maranacook Community High School in 1979. Kimberly had worked at Granite Hill Estates and was currently employed as a dialysis technician by Kennebec Kidney. She loved reading and spending time with family and friends. She also had a love for animals, especially her cats, Bernard and Sassy. She was a member of Readfield United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by a nephew, Ryan Pelton. She is survived by her parents, Donald and Patricia Pelton, of Readfield; two sons, Justin Kingsbury and his partner, Deidra McKenna, of Winthrop, and Christopher Pelton, of Winthrop; her partner, Timothy O'Connor, of Winthrop and his family, Kerbie, Kendra and Kaden; three brothers, David Pelton and his wife, Colleen, of Melvern, Pa., Edward Pelton and his wife, Nancy, of Lancaster, Pa., and Eric Pelton and his wife, Barbara, of Freedom N.H.; three grandchildren, Andrew Kingsbury, Keaghan McKenna and Dannica McKenna; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and also a very close friend, Jeff Hachey. Visiting will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday.
