AUGUSTA ? Norma A. 'Sue' Hanson, 67, of Graybirch Drive, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care at Graybirch in Augusta. She was born in Augusta, July 4, 1935, the daughter of Milo and Helen (Corbett) Brann. In the past, she had been employed at Rotary Cleaners in Augusta and Bates Manufacturing Co. (Edwards Mill) in Augusta. She was a very caring and loving woman. She loved her family deeply. Sue enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, playing cards, playing beano, and spending time with family and friends. She took great pride in the fact that she was a twin to Norman 'Sonny.' She lived a very happy life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her. She was predeceased by her parents, six brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hanson, with whom for 48 happy, loving years together, she raised their family and made their home in Augusta. She is also survived by four sons, Dennis, Richard and William of Augusta and Ben of South China; three daughters, Cindy Kenney of Belgrade, Helen Guilmette of Albion and Ann Babb of South China; two sisters, Iva Taylor and Sandra Norwood, both of Augusta; and 14 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at First Baptist Church of Hallowell, with the Rev. Peter Inchcombe officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church Street, Augusta.
