WINTHROP ? Roland Henri 'Chuck' Lebrun, 74, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. \r\r\n\r\r\nHe was born in Lewiston, June 30, 1927, the son of Leo W. and Gloria L. (Couture) Lebrun. Chuck graduated from Rockland High School in 1945. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Arkansas and PC 1125. \r\r\n\r\r\nHe married Audrey Prosser in 1950, and from 1950-1963 owned and operated Shell Service Station. He was later employed by Inmont Corporation and eventually retired from Carleton Woolen. \r\r\n\r\r\nChuck was a member of Monmouth Fish and Game, the Winthrop Lions Club, Alfred W. Maxwell Jr. American Legion Post 40 in Winthrop, and the Moose Lodge. \r\r\n\r\r\nAn avid hunter and fisherman, Chuck loved nature and the outdoors. He was predeceased by his parents, and his twin brothers shortly after their birth. \r\r\n\r\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Audrey Lebrun of Winthrop; his son, Steven Lebrun and his wife, Joanne, of Winthrop; his two daughters, Susan Hobart and her husband, Brian, of Readfield, and Tina Lebrun of New York, N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Jason Wheeler of Mount Vernon and Andrew Wheeler of Readfield. \r\r\n\r\r\nA memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winthrop with the Rev. Brian Blanchette, celebrant. Burial and committal service will be held at the new Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta, at a later date to be announced. \r\r\n\r\r\nFor those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to either HealthReach Hospice, P.O.
