Rose P. Yeaton AUGUSTA ? Rose P. Yeaton, 86, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Pittsfield on Jan. 15, 1917, the daughter of John and Ida (Hanson) Sanford. Rose attended schools in Augusta and was married to Ernest A. Yeaton, who died July 19, 1981. Rose enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards and doing word-find games. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, John Yeaton; a sister, Louise Closson; and three brothers, Ickey, Bing and Dana Sanford. She is survived by seven daughters, Gracey Arbour and her husband, Jack, Gloria Robichaud, Ruth Michaud and her husband, Willard, Susan Blomiley, Roberta Yeaton, Louise Ridley and Donna Yeaton; two sons, Ernest Rice and Robert Yeaton; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to give thanks to all her caregivers and a special thanks to Shelly Marston. There will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in Mount Hope Cemetery, Augusta.
