MONMOUTH ? Sandra Lee Danskin, 51, of Monmouth died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at her home. She was born in Haverhill, Mass., July 27, 1951, the daughter of John and Joan (Leighton) Perley. Sandra grew up in Ipswich, Mass. and attended Ipswich High School. She was married to Allan Danskin in September 1976. They moved to Rockland in 1986 and later lived in Winthrop and Monmouth. Sandy had worked at Progressive Distributors for the last five years. Sandy enjoyed sewing, knitting and other crafts. She also loved the outdoors. She was known for always putting the needs of others before her own. Mrs. Danskin is survived by her husband, Allan; her parents, John Perley of Pembroke and Joan Bradshaw, of Boulder, Colo.; a son, James Barrington Danskin of Gardiner; two daughters, Jean E. Seekell and her companion, Lary Keating, of Cushing, and Jenifer Lea Danskin of Gardiner; six brothers, Jonathan Perley of Springfield, Jay Perley, of Cambridge, Mass., Gregory Perley of Boulder, Steven Lightday of Ipswich, Louis Lightday, of Ipswich, and Paul Lightday, of Ipswich; a brother-in-law, Paul Danskin and his wife, Shirley, of Monmouth; three grandchildren, Joshua Allen Keating, Jasmine Marie Keating and Nathan Allan Danskin; and a nephew, Shawn Danskin, of Louiseville, KY. Relatives and friends may visit at from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. Memorial donations may be made to the United Way or flowers may be sent.
