WINTHROP- Ainsley Paige Kilgore (affectionately known as Loopy), 33, passed away surrounded by her many close friends and family on November 15, 2024, at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta after a long battle with alcohol addiction. Ainsley was born on June 6, 1991, in Lewiston to Doug Kilgore and Donna DeBlois.
Ainsley graduated from Winthrop High School in 2009 where she enjoyed Track & Field and Cheering. Ainsley later took her cheering experience and became an assistant coach for Monmouth Academy Cheering for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons.
Following high school, she attended the University of New Haven where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice. She was very proud of her employment at Kennebec County Sheriff's Department, Security Consultant with TRC Companies Inc., and with Target Security Division.
Ainsley's many friends say she was the catalyst and driving force behind fun gatherings and crazy activities she enjoyed. She was described as the glue that kept them together over the many years of friendship.
Ainsley is predeceased by her mom, Donna DeBlois, maternal grandmother, Arline DeBlois, and paternal grandparents, Roger and Christine Kilgore.
In addition to her father, Doug Kilgore, Ainsley is survived by her Grandfather, Maynard Deblois, stepmother, Cassie Babb, brother, Hunter Kilgore, and Stepdad, Mark Walker of Hallowell. She is also survived by Stepbrothers and Sisters Dustin Ouellette, wife Molly and children Sylvie and Clay; Dan Ouellette and girlfriend Sheena Hanson; Shelly Hippler, husband Ian and children Nash and Hudson; and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was comforted and loved by many close friends that were also considered her family.
Ainsley had a deep love for her cats and was known for going above and beyond when it came to her animals. A private graveside service will be held at Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop. Where Ainsley will be buried beside her mom, Donna Deblois.
