WINTHROP - Allison D. Bellemare, 31, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Allison was born July 13, 1972, in Jacksonville, Fla., the daughter of Samuel and Carol (Smith) Dunlap. She graduated from Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham in 1990 and from the University of Maine at Fort Kent in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. After graduation, Allison worked at the Bath Area Family YMCA until May 1996; and on Dec. 20, 1997, she married Gerald D. Bellemare of Winthrop. Allison was a full-time mom who home-schooled her children. She had a great love of photography, always took care of the birds and squirrels on the north shore of Cobbossee Lake, and enjoyed reading. She was predeceased by her mother, Carol Dunlap. Allison was a loving mother and wife and will be missed deeply by her husband, Gerald D. Bellemare; their three sons, Matthew Riley, Morgan Reed and Patrick Smith Bellemare; her father, Samuel Dunlap and his wife, Jean, of Florida; her brother, Scott Dunlap of Atlanta, Georgia; her stepbrothers, Stephen and Christopher Warner, both of Bath; and many other family members and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winthrop, with the Rev. Brian Blanchette, celebrant. Donations in Allison's memory may be made for the benefit of her children to The Bellemare Children Trust Fund, c/o Winthrop Area Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 55, Winthrop 04364.
