FARMINGDALE- Andrew J. Bowman, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Oak Grove Nursing Home in Waterville after a lengthy decline in health. He is the loving husband of the late Beverly (Lewis) “Jean” Bowman.

Andrew was born November 25, 1937, in Hallowell. He is the son of the late Charles L. and Effie (Thompson) Bowman. He resided in Farmingdale for many years. He was a graduate of Hallowell High School.

He enjoyed, hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Andrew worked as a Project Manager for the State of Maine Department of Transportation for many years until his retirement.

Andrew is survived by his son Timothy Bowman of Farmingdale, his sister Donna Bowman of Fairfield as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his loving wife Jean and his parents, Andrew is predeceased by his brother Robert Bowman.

In honoring with Andrew’s wishes a graveside service will be held Thursday, May 26th at 12:00 noon at Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Plains Road, Litchfield.
