AUGUSTA - Beverly Cecelia Theriault, 82, of Augusta, died Monday May 14, 2007, surrounded by her loving family, at the Augusta Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 24, 1924 in Augusta the daughter of Joseph H. ?Pop? and Frances (Harwood) Tardiff. She was a 1943 graduate of Cony High School. Beverly was employed for a short time by the State of Maine but left when she started her family. She and her husband, John J. Theriault, Sr. were married in October of 1946 and had six children. Later in life, Beverly worked for the State of Maine, Sales Tax Division. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Mrs. Theriault loved to be in the company of her husband, children and grandchildren. Her life was devoted to caring for them, worrying about them and praising them. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and you could see it in her caring, joyful smile. She had a true heart of gold and compassion for everyone. A place in heaven awaits her with her parents and her son Kenny. Beverly was predeceased by her parents; her son, Kenneth J. Theriault; her grandson, Phillip J. Theriault and her son-in-law, David Raynor. She is survived by her husband, John J. Theriault, Sr., her five children, John J. Theriault, Jr. and his wife, Estelle, of Augusta, Cynthia Raynor, of Pittston, Paul Theriault and his wife, Mary Ann, of Waterville, Michael Theriault and his wife, Carol, of Augusta, and David P. Theriault, of Augusta; her sister, Margaret Jones and her husband, Tony, and her many special grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, One Church Street, Augusta, Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Friday at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Manchester.
