Obituary

Bobby Lee Michaud, lovingly known as “Papa,” passed away peacefully at his home on June 28, 2026, at the age of 56.

Bobby was born on March 28, 1970, in Augusta, Maine, to Larry and Nicole Michaud. During his childhood, his family moved frequently, and he spent parts of his youth in Terryville and Plainville CT, as well as Belgrade, Maine. These experiences helped shape the hardworking, family-oriented man that so many came to know and love.

Bobby made his home in Manchester, Maine, where he shared a life with his beloved wife, Jenny Michaud. They have been together since she was 15 and he was 20, married for 26 years and would be celebrating 27 years in September. Their favorite memories together were working around their house and doing yardwork. Together they built a family that became the center of Bobby’s world.

His greatest pride and joy were his three daughters, Ashley, Alexis, and Alissa, who always had him wrapped around their fingers; But becoming “Papa” brought Bobby a whole new level of happiness. He adored his three grandchildren, Bryant, Ellyana, and Lainey, and loved them more than words could ever express. Whether it was spending time together, making memories, or simply enjoying the little moments, nothing meant more to him than his family. He was the greatest provider and would give anyone the shirt off his back.

When he wasn’t working, Bobby could often be found tinkering on campers or enjoying the outdoors. He loved disc golf, hiking, camping, and playing mini golf. He was a longtime nascar fan and proudly cheered for Dale Earnhardt Sr, & Jr. More than any hobby, Bobby treasured time spent with the people he loved, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Such as recently renovating his mom’s kitchen with her, building Legos or pushing his grandchildren on the swings. Bobby would often send random I love you all texts to Jenny, Ashley, Alexis and Alissa. He always wanted them all to know how much he loved them and would tell them every day about how proud he was of them.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer “Jenny” Michaud; his daughter Ashley Marston, her husband Kaleb, and their children Bryant, Ellyana, and Lainey, his daughter Alexis Michaud and her partner Nate Grenier, daughter Alissa Michaud & her partner Owen Harding.

Bobby is also survived by his parents Larry & Nicole Michaud, brother Ricky Michaud; sister Tammy Spring; his in-laws, Mike and Jeannie Weymouth; along with nephews Dustyn & Brandyn Michaud, nieces Amanda Spring & Amy Beaudoin and 5 great-nephews, lots of extended family members, and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Bobby will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering devotion to his family, quiet strength, and the love he gave to everyone so freely. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Papa.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 11th from 9:00am-10:30am, followed by a brief funeral service 10:30am-11:00am.
