WINTHROP - Mr. Boleslaw 'Brownie' Slonina, 92, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, in Spring Hill, Fla. He had spent his winters in Florida and summers in Winthrop. He was born in North Monmouth on July 20, 1915, the son of John and Julia (Pelia) Slonina. He graduated from Winthrop High School and worked on the family dairy farm making home deliveries of milk. Later, he worked for the Marion Estate in Wayne for many years. He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Stella Panek and her husband, Joe, of Augusta. He is survived by two sisters, Stenish Grover and Helen Hanson of Spring Hill; one brother, Charles Slonina of Winthrop; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Glenside Cemetery, Turkey Lane, Winthrop.
