Winthrop - Carmen V. Mauro, 66, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at his home. He was born in Trenton NJ on August 19, 1945, the son of Vincent and Maria (Fabrizio) Mauro Sr. He worked as a truck driver for several New Jersey companies before moving to Maine in 2001. He retired from Native Maine Produce in 2006. He attended the Winthrop Congregational Church UCC and enjoyed farming on Face Book. Carmen is survived by his wife Susan Mauro of Winthrop, ME; two sons Thomas “TJ” Mauro of Winthrop ME and Patrick Mauro of Hamilton, NJ; a daughter Dawn E. Lewis and her husband David of Hamilton, NJ; and one grandson Kyle Joseph Lewis. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, May 25 at the Winthrop Congregational Church. Burial will be at a later date in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Trenton NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Winthrop Congregational Church UCC, 10 Bowdoin St, Winthrop Maine 04364.
