Winthrop- Caro Jane Kaiser passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on September 14, 2026.

Her greatest joy was her family. The love she had for them was immeasurable, and the memories they made together will live on in their hearts forever.

Joy was her favorite word—a simple word that captured so much of who she was. In her memory, may we all carry her message with us: spread joy, choose joy, and share joy with others.

She is survived by her husband, John (“Jack”) M. Kaiser Sr.; her son, John M. Kaiser Jr., and his wife, Rhonda; her daughter, Jane C. Grant, and her husband, Steve; her beloved grandchildren, Kayla Kaiser (Keenan) and Lauren Souza (Kameron); and her great-grandchildren, Laina and Kaleb; her brother, George Deaver.

Caro was predeceased by her parents, Rexford and Jane Deaver, and her brother, Charlie Deaver.

A celebration of life for Caro will be held on October 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Winthrop United Methodist Church. Those who attend are encouraged to wear bright colors in celebration of Caro’s vibrant spirit, just as she would have wanted.
