Carol Elaine (Sandman) Giuffrida died unexpectedly on Sunday 8/9/26 surrounded by the people she loved.

She was born 7/31/46 to Raymond and Faith Sandman.

She married her college sweetheart, Steve Giuffrida, on 7/30/1966, and recently celebrated their 60th Anniversary. Steve was the love of her life, her protector, and her best friend.

She is predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Faith, and her daughter Carolyn.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Giuffrida, and children: Merrilynn Overlock and her husband Charlie, Tony Giuffrida and his wife Angela, Karin Babiarz and her husband Zakary, and Joseph Giuffrida and wife Jamie-Lynn.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Nicholas Overlock, Natalie Overlock, Cole Giuffrida, Jazzlyn Giuffrida, Lyliana Giuffrida, Parkerlyn Giuffrida, and Joelle Babiarz.

Also survived by her sisters Darlene Sandman, Gail Morse, niece Cindy Catougno, and her best friend, Maureen Davis.

She is now dancing along streets of gold in the presence of Jesus.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, 8/15/26 at 11am at the First United Pentecostal Church of Augusta.
