WINTHROP- Carol A. Reed-Freve, 66, died Thursday, March 31st at MaineGeneral hospital in Augusta.

Carol was born on July 30th, 1955, in Lewiston, Maine to Lois Reynolds-Freve, and Gerald Freve Sr. She attended Edward Little High School and went on to raise 3 children: Roland, Kim, and Chuck Reed with her then husband, Charles S. Reed.

Carol devoted her life to helping others. She worked for years at Rush’s foster homes in Monmouth. Her family and friends are all left with her legacy of kindness.

She is survived by her children, 3 grandchildren, 4 brothers, and several cousins, nieces and nephews whom all love her fiercely.

There will be a celebration of Carol’s life on Saturday, April 23rd from 12-4 at The Carriage House Plus, 1119 Lisbon St. Lewiston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
