Hallowell ~ Charles O. Thibodeau died unexpectedly at his home on June 15, 2015. He was born in Old Town on November 4, 1934, the son of Onesime and Lea (Dupuis) Thibodeau. He lived the first half of his life in Old Town, graduating from Old Town High in 1954. He joined the Air Force in 1955. 'Charlie' as he was called by family and friends, loved to bowl, play bingo, and do puzzles and crafts. He was a longtime volunteer at Togus, logging over 7000 hours when he retired. Charlie had resided at the Cotton Mill Apts. in Hallowell for the past 14 years. He is survived by two daughters; Nancy and her husband Joseph Vazquez and Lynn; two grandchildren Leonora and Joseph Vazquez; two sisters Doris Rivard and Rita St. Louis and her husband Leon; also several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents and his four brothers, Harold, Robert, Gerard, and Joseph. A burial will be held in September at St. Joseph Cemetery in Old Town, Me.
