WINTHROP - Christine E. Petersen, 38, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2009, after a long battle with cancer, while at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Manchester, N.H., June 22, 1970, the daughter of Theresa Boucher and Thomas Eastman. She is survived by her husband, Leland J. Petersen Sr.; daughter Justine and three sons, Kevin, Jamie and Brandon. She had many friends and acquaintances. 'Chrissy' loved collecting angels and especially enjoyed the holidays. Her kindness drew many to love her. With her gentle spirit, she was an inspiration to all she met. Per her request, there will be no public service or visiting hours. Friends and family are welcome to join in the celebration of her life between the hours of 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at her home, located at 41 Vista Heights in Winthrop.
