WINTHROP - Christopher S. Bourisk, 26, of Annabessacook Road, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. He was born in Augusta on Sept. 6, 1984, the son of Gary and Terry (Hartung) Bourisk. Chris graduated from Winthrop High School, class of 2003, and attended Kennebec Valley Community College, Electrical Linesman Program, in Fairfield. He had worked for Cianbro Corp. and most recently was employed with Blake Equipment Co. Inc. in Portland. Chris was and outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and paintball. He also liked to play Xbox, watch a Boston Bruins hockey game, or just spend time with his family and friends. He had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Randolph Bourisk. Chris is survived by his parents, Gary and Terry Bourisk, of Winthrop; his paternal grandmother, Edna Bourisk, of Winthrop; his maternal grandparents, Alton 'Honk' and Alice Hartung, of Manchester; his uncles, Tobey Bourisk and his wife, Vickey, of Westbrook, Jeff Bourisk of Winthrop, Rick Bourisk and his companion, Leann Mercier, of Lewiston, and Dallas Hartung and his wife, Emily of Farmington; an aunt, Shelly Bourisk, and her companion, Steve Gaboury, of Winthrop; and a special great-aunt, Lucy Deroche, of Yarmouth; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting will be held Sunday, Nov. 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Augusta. A celebration of Chris's life will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
