WINTHROP - Constance B. Rogers, 87, of Winthrop, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Augusta, the daughter of Carl and Katherine (Williams) Stockford. She grew up in Winthrop and was a graduate of Winthrop High School. Constance worked at Wadsworth and Woodman and the Corn Mill. Later she worked at Heritage Manor. Mrs. Rogers enjoyed ceramics, collecting dolls, teddy bears and monkeys and gardening. Constance was predeceased by her husband, Guy Rogers in 1987. She is survived by her sons, William Rogers of Winthrop and 'Tee' and Jim Rogers, of Tacoma, Wash.; her daughter, Cathy Rodzen and her husband, Mark, of Wayne; her sister, Carolyn Corbin, of Winthrop; her nephew, Sonny Corbin; her niece, Sandra Burt; her grandchildren, Danny Johnston, Teresa Beaulieu, Bill G. Rogers, Amy Bolduc, Akemi Smith, Junko Richardson, Michiko Brock, and Guy Rogers; her great-grandchildren, Catherine, Amanda, Laura, Natalie, Ben, Hunter, Fay, Toyoko, Miyoshi, Isiah, Matthew, and Caleb along with seven great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. The funeral service will be private.
