ROME - Cynthia Lee (Somers) Trehy, 54, of Sunflower Estates passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, with her husband, Bob, at her side. She was born in Augusta on March 7, 1956, the daughter of Edwin and Diana Somers, of Readfield. Cynthia had lived in Connecticut and Florida for several years, having recently moved back to Maine with her husband of two years, Robert Trehy. She was chaplain of Priscilla Lodge of the Maine Rebekah in Skowhegan. She is survived by her husband, Robert, of Rome; her parents and her brother, Edwin, of Readfield; two children, Richard R. White Jr. and Diana Dean, of Florida; aunts Mildred Hollis, of Florida, and Barbara Somers, of Mount Vernon; and several grandchildren, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her many cats and her dog, Packer. There will be no visiting, and a memorial service will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
