Obituary

David Diamond 1960-2023 Winthrop- David Diamond, 63, of Winthrop died Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Augusta, Maine on January 6,1960, the son of the late Henry Diamond and Ann (Tucker) Diamond. David grew up in Winthrop and graduated from Winthrop High School in 1978. His friends and family enjoyed his unique whit. He used to love to go fishing and hunting when he was younger, David loved to listen to his music and play cribbage. David had worked at Bickford Woodworking Shop in Monmouth for several years, also Tex Tech Industries. He went to Northeast Tractor Trailer Driving School and worked for CN Brown in Augusta for a couple of years then went on to work for the State of Maine, Dept. of Transportation where he retired in 2022. David was predeceased by father, Henry E. Diamond 4/25/2009, and Mother Ann C. Diamond 11/22/2023 and nephew Israel D. Breton 11/8/2019. He is survived by sister Bonnie Lindemann and husband Bruce Lindemann, sister Deborah Morgan and husband David Morgan, sister Patricia Breton and husband Francis Breton, brother Robert Diamond and partner Roxanne Rousseau, brother Christopher Diamond and wife Charlene Diamond and eight nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, June 28th at Monmouth Ridge Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Monmouth. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 62 Bowdoin Street, Winthrop, where memories, condolences and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of our website at www.khrfuneralhomes.com
