WAYNE- David A. Green passed away peacefully at his home in Wayne, on Sunday August 14th, after a long fight with cancer. David was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on May 5th, 1962 and was the son of Adrain Green and Sherrill Dickinson. He lived in Illinois for 8 years before moving to Durango, CO where he spent the remainder of his adolescence. He graduated from Durango High School and then went on to the Air Force where he served most of his time in San Bernadino, CA. During his time in the service, he worked on a variety of aircraft as an airlift aircraft maintenance specialist. After proudly serving, he returned to Durango, CO where he met his wife of 34 years, Denise Green (Bodemer). After 3 years in Durango, David and Denise moved to Wayne, ME with their two-year old son, Corey. After moving to Maine David finished his career with a 25+ year run with Hannaford. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Denver Broncos, and most importantly spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife, Denise Green of Wayne, Son, Corey Green and his wife Briana Green of Windham, ME, mother, Sherrill Dickinson, his sister Laura Jaramillo and her husband Floyd Jaramillo, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. David is predeceased by his father, Adrain Green and brother, Michael Green. Per David's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of the Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop.
