MANCHESTER ~ David F. Laflin, 74, of Manchester, died Sunday April 20, 2014 at his home. He was born March 24, 1940 in Gardiner, the son of Frank and Mary (Brown) Laflin. He grew up in Hallowell and attended Hallowell schools. David worked as a truck driver most of his life. He drove for the City of Hallowell and several local construction companies, his last employer being Bonenfant Construction. Mr. Laflin was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Gloria and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by a brother, Gary Richard, of Manchester; a sister, Barbara Gervais, of Manchester and several nieces and nephews. There will not be any services. David will be buried next to his wife in the Holy Family Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home and Cremation Service, One Church Street, Augusta.
