AUGUSTA - Donna Marie Foshay, after a lifetime of battling major illnesses, found a better place Sunday, March 22, 2009. She was born July 15, 1960, in New Milford, Conn., the daughter of Robert and Elsie Foshay, where she attended school. She later moved to Maine and fell in love with the state. Her two fondest passions were caring for animals and traveling throughout the state to view the scenery. She also enjoyed homemaking, crocheting, visiting her friends and attending sporting events. She is sadly missed by her mother and stepfather, Elsie and Larry Terhune, of New Milford; her daughter and granddaughter, Laura and Gwynn Banks, of Danbury, Conn.; her brother, Marcel Foshay, of Auburndale, Fla.; her best friend, Melvina Langley, of Augusta; and her fiance, Ray Dostie, of Augusta. A July wedding had been planned. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PALS Animal Shelter, 188 Case Road, Winthrop.
