AUGUSTA - Dorothy 'Dot' (McArthur) Fuller, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at Heritage Rehabilitation & Living Center in Winthrop. She was born in Augusta on June 17, 1920, the daughter of John, Sr. and Gertrude (Haskell) McArthur. A 1939 graduate of Cony High School, Dot was employed at Augusta State Hospital and later worked for Hazzard Shoe until her retirement. In her spare time, Dot enjoyed reading, and working with her plants and flowers. Mrs. Fuller was predeceased by her husband, Forrest Fuller, in 1952; her son, David Fuller, in 1969; her brothers, Cecil, Kenneth, John Jr., Gordon and James McArthur; and her sister, Ruth Pullen. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In accordance with Dot's wishes, there will be no public visiting hours or service at this time. A celebration of her life will be held graveside in the spring at Deer Hill Cemetery, China, at a day and time to be announced in the spring.
