Obituary

SSGT. Edward Walter Greenier, passesd away on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born June 17, 1952, to Walter and Lillie Mae (Woodward) Greenier in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Ed grew up in Presque Isle and graduated in 1970. Ed enlisted into the US Marine Corps, while he was stationed at Camp Lejune, N.C. he met his soul mate for life, Kathy Davis and together they raised a family. Ed left the marines in 1981 and started his civilian life working at Maine Electronics for many years and running his own logging business with his family. Ed and Kathy spent many years together traveling across the U.S. Kathy passed away on Christmas day 2021 and it broke his heart. We will miss you Dad, Grandpa, Brother, and friend, "Semper-Fi." Ed is survived by his two sons, Larry and his wife April of Wales, Anthony (Tony) and wife Kelly of Lisbon Falls, sister, Donna, and husband Darryl Wood of Presque Isle, niece Tammy Winger of Presque Isle, sister in law's, Paula White of Winthrop and Debra Davis of Port Huron, Michigan. Six grandchildren, Shawn, Daniel (Danny) and Alisha Greenier, Kathy LaGue, Derek Palange Jr., and Rachel Leclair, five great grandchildren, Evangeline Williams, Viviana-Belle Leclair, Mason, Haylee and Jenna Palange. Ed was predeceased by his loving wife, Kathy Diane Greenier, his parents and brother-in-law, Tim White. The family will announce a Celebration of Life for Edward when the sunny warm days of Spring return in 2022. In Lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the Maine Audubon in Edward's memory.
