AUGUSTA - Eleanor M. Brady, 93, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, Glenridge Drive, Augusta. She was born in Bangor on Aug. 7, 1910, the daughter of John and Maryann (Barry) Donovan. Eleanor graduated from St. John's High School in Bangor and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She had also lived in Portland before moving to Augusta in 1975. Here, she faithfully attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Western Avenue. Eleanor enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Brady, in 1970. She is survived by a nephew, David Reed of Maine and Texas; a close friend, Phyllis Hall of Augusta; and several cousins. Visiting will be held 1-3 p.m. Friday at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta, where a prayer service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, with Deacon Dean Lachance.
