NORTH MONMOUTH - Elsie Knox Rudick, 79, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born in Livermore Falls on April 28, 1926, the daughter of Arthur and Sylvia (Gould) Knox. Elsie was employed by United Shoe Machinery Co. for 27 years and was a member of the Faith Alliance Church in Winthrop. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, John Rudick; and an infant brother. Elsie is survived by her son, Daryl Rudick of Winthrop; her sister, Evelyn Clark of Warren; and her granddaughter, Joanne Coney of Middleburg, Fla. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Haines Corner Road, East Livermore, where pastor James Murphy will offer committal prayers. All who wish to attend are invited to meet at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, where the departure time for the cemetery will be 9 a.m. for those who would like to follow in procession. A celebration of Elsie's life is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday at Faith Alliance Church, 4 Pleasant St., Winthrop, with pastor Murphy officiating.
