Emma
Curtis
Jan 11, 2000 — Oct 16, 2015
CHESTERVILLE ~ Emma Suzanne Curtis, age 15, a student at Mt. Blue High School, passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 16, 2015. She was born on January 11, 2000 to Jason R. Curtis and Crystal A. Correia. Emma was such a loving and thoughtful child; she was very imaginative. Emma cared so much about people and animals and was very sensitive to people’s feelings. Her artistic talent and creativity showed through in her drawings, her clay creations, her stories, her “potions”, and the many useful things she made from Duct Tape. Emma had been dealing with several difficult medical problems for more than a year. She was pre-deceased by her grandfathers, David Curtis and Michael Correia and her great uncle, Philip Hodgkins. She is survived by her father and step-mother Jason Curtis and Amy Curtis, her mother and step-father Crystal Correia and Robert Caron, and her brothers Nathan Curtis, Ross Correia, and Ben and Joey Tolman. She also leaves behind her grandmothers, Doris Morris and Susan Correia and her step-grandparents Penny and David Bard. Her other surviving family members include great uncle and aunt Stephen and Jo-Ellen Hodgkins; aunt, uncle and niece, Adrienne (Curtis), Tom and Charlotte Lucey; aunt, uncle and cousins Melanie (Hodgkins), Mark, Isabel and Sophie Lessard; step-aunt, uncle and cousin Angela, Darren and Alyssa Hartford; her uncle Jeffrey Correia and cousins Michael and Joshua Correia. Emma is so loved and missed by all of her family and friends; our lives will never be the same without our sweet and loving girl. We wish Emma the greatest joy in heaven and know that her Uncle Phil is welcoming and caring for her. A gathering to say farewell to Emma will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 24th at Fayette Mills Cemetery (across the road from Fayette Central School) and the family invites you to join us after the ceremony at the Fayette Central School for refreshments and to share memories. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, where memories, condolences and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of our website at www.khrfuneralhomes.com
