CHELSEA - Eric Manuel Demos, 22, of Dr. Mann Road died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Leeds. He was born in Waterville on June 13, 1985, the son of Catherine (Fielder) Demos and Richard M. Demos Sr. A graduate of Cony High School in the class of 2004, he was employed at Pine State Vending Company. Eric's philosophy on life was reflected in his favorite quote, 'God didn't put me on this earth to watch people do amazing things. He put me here to do amazing things.' Eric loved anything extreme: motorcycling, snowmobiling, dirt biking and downhill skiing. He enjoyed playing Xbox Live with his buddies all over the country. He especially liked spending time with friends and family and riding with his motorcycle club, 'Illegal Tendencies.' He is survived by his mother, Catherine Demos, of Chelsea and his father, Richard Demos Sr.,, of Hobe Sound, Fla.; five siblings, half-brother Richard Demos Jr., of Phoenix, Dana Demos and wife Victoria, of Manchester, Cassandra Perkins and husband William, of Wayne, Rae-Ann Malcolm and husband Tim, of Manchester, and half-sister Alicia Sounier, of Presque Isle; along with three nieces and one nephew, Lindsey, Cadence, Arianna and Barrett. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, April 22 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Augusta, with the Rev. Brian Blanchette, celebrant.
