AUGUSTA - Frederick Noble Littlefield, 52, of Augusta died Monday, April 26, 2004, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Frederick was born in Augusta on Oct. 8, 1951, the son of Wilbur Littlefield and Gladys and Albert Libby. He graduated from Cony High School in 1971. He worked for the Colonial Theater and McFarland's VW, co-owned B&F Taxi, and worked at Statler Tissue for nearly 20 years. Fred was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather. He continued to display his endearing sense of humor throughout his difficult and courageous battle. He will be truly missed by his family and friends and will forever remain dear in our thoughts and hearts. Mr. Littlefield is survived by his mother, Gladys Libby, and father, Albert Libby; a son, Frederick Littlefield of Augusta; a daughter, Angela Donald and her husband, Rich, of South China; his longtime companion, Gretchen Mangin; three grandsons, Lucas Donald, Cole Donald and Reese St. Pierre; a granddaughter, Alexee Littlefield; a brother, Ricky Littlefield of Newington, Conn.; two sisters, Cynthia Berube and Alice Drummond, both of Augusta; a special friend, Gib Coppersmith; a nephew, Robert Drummond and his wife, Vickilyn; a niece, Renee Berube; two grandnieces, Allyson and Grace Drummond; two grandnephews, Cody and Ronan Drummond; uncles Robert and Kenneth Rodgers and Raymond Watts; aunt Dorothy Burns; numerous cousins; and his dog, Josie. There will be a private graveside memorial service at the old St. Mary's Cemetery in Augusta. Frederick's family wishes to extend special thanks to the dedicated, highly skilled and compassionate nurses on the Critical Care Unit of MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.
