WATERVILLE - Gerande Velma DeBlois, 79, died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home with her extended family by her side singing 'Amazing Grace.' Gerande was born in Augusta to Arthur and Anna Marie (Rodrigue) Poulin on Oct. 12, 1929. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister Juliette Dube. She is survived by her son, John J. DeBlois and his daughters, Monica Norris and her husband, Robert, and Tena DeBlois; and great-grandchildren Colin Norris and Damon DeBlois, her daughter, Ann Lindholm and her son, Nicholas Besson.
