WATERFORD - James Woodward Smart, 48, of Waterford died unexpectedly Feb. 22, 2004, in Waterford. He was born in Waterville on Feb. 15, 1956. Jim attended local schools and graduated cum laude from Kents Hill School. He attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Smart is survived by his parents, Jack and Anita Smart of Readfield; a sister, Elizabeth Milliken of Readfield; a brother, Dr. Richard Smart and his wife, Cyndie, of Readfield; a nephew, Luke Milliken of Readfield; and two nieces, Megan and Alison Smart of Readfield. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop .
