WINTHROP ? Jason Marston, 15, of Pinewood Drive, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 10, 2003 at his home. He was born in Augusta on Aug. 6, 1987, the son of Brian and Toni (Tibbetts) Marston. Jason was a sophomore at Winthrop High School. Besides his pride at being a member of the Winthrop Rambler Football Team, he enjoyed snowboarding, chess, movies and music, spending time with his friends and family, and trying to outwit his Dad. Jason was a lover of life and enriched the lives of many during his short time on earth with his unusual humor, quick wit, and reckless enjoyment of daring activities. He was fiercely protective of his friends and stood up for his beliefs. He is survived by his parents Brian and Toni; a sister, Jamie Marston of Winthrop; his grandparents, Phil and Margaret Marston and Lester 'Tib' and Sandee Tibbetts of Winthrop; his uncles and aunts, Rick and Karen Marston of Naples, David and Wanda Goodwin of Gray, Peter and Nancy Hebert of China, Ron and Donna Martin of Houston, Texas; and cousins Justin and Matt Hebert and Zack and Molly Martin. He is also survived by close friends Jay Bilodeau, Eddie Dugie and Steve Thompson. A time to visit with Jason, his family and his friends, will be held Sunday, April 13, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. A time to reflect on the happy times shared with Jason will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Winthrop. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Winthrop Athletic Director, c/o Jeff DeBlois, 39 Highland Ave., Winthrop 04364.
