Winthrop- Mr. Jean T. Morin passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on January 26,2022. Jean was born August 14, 1953, in Augusta. He is the son of Therese (Poulin) Morin of Augusta, and the late Herman Morin. He was a resident of Winthrop for many years. Jean enjoyed spending some time with family and friends, working on his land in Winthrop, he also enjoyed buying scratch tickets and going to Oxford Casino and O.T.B. He worked at Progressive as a picker, and some nursing homes doing maintenance and also worked at the Sportsmen Alliance. Jean was predeceased by his father, Herman Morin of California, two brothers Gerard Morin of Winthrop and Paul Morin of Pittston. Jean is survived by his mother, Therese Morin of Augusta, brother, Robert Morin and his wife Nikki of Manchester, sister Marie Michaud of Augusta and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In honoring Jean's wishes, funeral services and burial will be held privately.
