ROCKWOOD - Jean Ruth Weymouth, 64, of Rockwood and formerly of Winthrop, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born April 19, 1939, in Madison, the daughter of Henry and Ruth (Clukey) Cloutier. She lived in Madison until age 12, when she and her family moved to Connecticut for a short time. She returned to Maine and lived in several central Maine towns, attending schools in Hallowell. Jean and her husband, Richard, spent weekends at their camp in Rockwood, starting in 1974 and moving there permanently in 2000. Jean worked for several years at the Cerebral Palsy Center in Augusta and then worked for the Thomas Agency in Winthrop as a Realtor, until her retirement in 1996. Mrs. Weymouth enjoyed reading and music and was known for her great cooking. Jean was predeceased by her son, Mark Weymouth. She is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons, Richard Weymouth Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Nobleboro, and Bruce Weymouth, of Winthrop; two daughters, Deborah Weymouth and her companion, Mark Pettengill, of Wayne, and Diane Weymouth of Skowhegan; six grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Relatives and friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
