CHELSEA - Joshua Adam Wilson, 21, of Chelsea, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Josh was born December 16, 1985 in Augusta to Clifford ?Snipe? and Rosella ?Rose? Wilson. He grew up in Chelsea and lived his entire life there. Josh had numerous jobs growing up but, always enjoyed working with individuals living with developmental disabilities. He held a special place in his heart for the ?underdog.? He graduated in 2004 from Cony High School and also attended Southern Maine Community College. Josh had a passion for life and loved hanging out with his family, friends, and cousins. He had a special bond with two of his cousins, Lukie, who passed away February 28, 2004 and Justin, who he spent a lot of time with and considered his brothers. Josh?s favorite saying to his cousins was, ?choose your path now.? Josh loved his two sisters, Amanda and Jenn and even though he would tease them, he always protected them as a brother would. One of his proudest days was when his sister Amanda got married and he was a groomsman. Josh had a special place in his heart for Jenn?s boyfriend, Ryan and Amanda?s husband, Justin. Although Josh did not have any, he felt Ryan and Justin were his brothers. Josh enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling, motorcycles, carpentry and tattoos. He also loved his three dogs, Tucker, Patch, and Harley very much. They will miss him as much as he will be missed by his family because he treated them like family. Josh could always put a smile on your face with his wonderful sense of humor that will never be forgotten. Surviving are his parents, of Chelsea, sisters, Amanda Gray and her husband, Justin, of Portland and Jennifer Wilson and her boyfriend, Ryan Morrow, of Somerville; his grandmother, Jane Wilson, of Vassalboro; his grandfather, Clifford ?Mike? Wilson III, of Augusta along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Relatives and friends may visit at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, One Church Street in Augusta Sunday 3 to 6pm with a celebration of his life on Monday at 2:00pm at the funeral home. The celebration of Josh?s life will continue at the Manchester Lion?s Club, Rt. 17 in Manchester following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Luke and Diane Hopkins 349 Scribner Hill Road, Manchester 04351 to help defray funeral costs. There will be a burial service in the spring.
